The appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen, first in China and now also in Europe, presents people and companies alike with challenges that could not have been previously anticipated.
We at CSC Jäklechemie GmbH & Co. KG are working every day to supply your company reliably and punctually with the products you want and need for your business. As a rule, we succeed in doing so, mainly as a result of our prudent planning, the tremendous commitment of our employees, and the reliability of the suppliers we select.
Due to the current situation, however, we are increasingly being confronted with the possibility that we may not be able to fulfil all our contractual delivery obligations to you as usual.
The pandemic as a whole, but especially the border closures that have taken place in recent days, make delivery delays, bottlenecks or cancellations and price increases likely. In the case of products of foreign origin or those manufactured from foreign raw materials, and in the case of products that are currently in high demand for the manufacture of disinfectants, the probability that we will no longer be able to supply you as usual is particularly high.
Despite all due care, such serious events were not foreseeable, much less avoidable, for us as your supplier.
This may mean that we will not be able to supply you in future, or not completely as contractually agreed, through no fault of CSC Jäklechemie GmbH & Co. KG. As a precautionary measure, we would therefore like to point out that, if necessary, we will also exercise the rights to which we are contractually or legally entitled in cases of force majeure.
We trust that you will understand and hope that together we will all overcome the challenges ahead.
