In a previous News article, we reported that under the use restriction, all users will have to take mandatory training by August 2023 if they handle products containing free diisocyanate monomers in concentrations of 0.1% or more. Covestro's range of "ultra" products is not affected by the new regulation.
All isocyanates that have a diisocyanate monomer content of less than 0.1% and therefore do not fall under the Use Ristriction are known as "ultra". This also applies to the new Desmodur ultra N 3580 BA.
